Sangameshwar Taluka is a taluka in the Ratnagiri District in Maharashtra, India. Sangameshwar Taluka is one of the nine talukas of Ratnagiri. Mandangad, Khed, Dapoli, Guhagar, Chiplun, Lanja, Rajapur and Ratnagiri are other talukas of the district.

Sangameshwar Taluka is bordered by Chiplun, Guhagar, Ratnagiri, Lanja talukas of Ratnagiri district, Shahuwadi taluka of Kolhapur district, Shirala taluka of Sangli district and Patan taluka of Satara district. Sangameshwar Taluka has Karneshwar Temple, Marleshwar Temple, Tikaleshwar Temple and Mallikarjun Temple. Marleshwar Waterfalls attract tourists to visit Sangameshwar.

Sangameshwar Taluka is part of the Chiplun Assembly constituency, Ratnagiri Assembly constituency and Rajapur Assembly constituency. Shekhar Govindrao Nikam is MLA of Chiplun constituency, Uday Ravindra Samant is MLA of Ratnagiri constituency and Rajan Prabhakar Salvi is MLA of Rajapur constituency. Narayan Tatu Rane from Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg Lok Sabha constituency represent Sangameshwar Taluka in lower house of Indian parliament.

Sangameshwar is at a distance of 44 kms from Ratnagiri via Hathkhamba – Vandri – Kurdhunda. Pune to Sangameshwar distance is 245 kms via Bhor – Poladpur – Khed – Chiplun – Sawarde – Aravali, 278 kms via Satara – Patan – Koyananagar – Chiplun – Sawarde – Aravali, 291 kms via Satara – Kokrud – Malkapur – Sakharpa – Devrukh. Mumbai to Sangameshwar distance is 316 kms via Pen – Mahad – Poladpur – Khed – Chiplun – Sawarde – Aravali.
