Rasalgad Fort, Ghera Rasalgad, Khed, Ratnagiri

Several hill forts have been situated for hundreds of years in the remote areas of Sahyadri. Khed taluka in Ratnagiri is very near to Sahyadri. Therefore, there are many Giridurgs in the villages of Khed taluka and the surroundings ie hill ranges still exist. Rasalgad is very beautiful in rainy season.

From the head of the fort, on the east side, Sahyadri is spread over the long distance, the road to the west, the south of the Jagbudi river basin, and Madhumarkand fort is seen in the area. From here onwards, it is possible to travel in Sumargad and Mahipatgad.
