Kaleshwar Temple, Moor, Rajapur, Ratnagiri

Kaleshwar Temple is situated at Moor village of Rajapur taluka in Ratnagiri. This is an ancient Shiva temple in Konkan which is completely open on all sides i.e. the temple has no walls on any side. On entering the temple premises, there is a beautiful Tulsi Vrindavan on the left side. Shri Dev Kaleshwar is in pindi form in this kaularu temple. There is Nandi in front of the pindi and Ganpati on the side.

Moor village is at a distance of 40 km from Rajapur. Shri Kaleshwar temple is a little far from human habitation.This ancient and awakened Shiva temple is situated in a scenic environment surrounded by tall trees.Here you can experience extraordinary peace.
