Ganesh Temple (गणपती मंदिर देवगड किल्ला) is situated at Devgad Fort in Sindhudurg. This ancient temple is just 10 minutes away from Devgad City. It is believed that the temple must have been established at the time when the fort was built. The earlier temple was a small kaularu temple. In the later period, the sanctum and culminiation of the temple were renovated. Then on 15th February 2021 again the the temple was reconstructed completely. Temple premises has Tulsi Vrindavan. Grand Sabhamandap has added to the charm of the temple. The idol of Shri Ganesha in the temple is very beautiful. While circumambulating the sanctum, we get darshan of Ashtavinayak Ganpati. Outside the sanctum, in the front of Ganesha, is a beautiful idol Mushakraj.

Devotees throng here for Darshan on Maghi Ganeshotsav and Sankashti. There is a big festival on Maghi Chaturthi in the temple. Traditional bhajans along with other programs are organized on this occasion. On the night of Sankashti Chaturthi, there is mahaprasad in the temple. There is a road leading to Ganesh Temple in Devgad Fort. So tourist vehicles go directly to the fort. A beautiful view of the Arabian Sea can be seen from near this temple. There is a lighthouse very close to the Ganpati Temple.
