Kepadevi Temple, Muthwadi, Ubhadanda, Vengurla, Sindhudurg

Kepadevi Temple of Vengurla is located at Ubhadanda-Muth village of Sindhudurg. This place is very calm and religious. Kepadevi is a form of Mahishasurmardini.

Idol of the goddess is a quadrangle, sword in one hand, shield in the other hand, trident in the third hand and the head of Mahishasura in one hand. In this temple Navratri, Dasara, Tulsi Vivah, Kartik Padwa, Jatrotsav, Samradhana, Shimga, Chaitra Padva etc. are celebrated every year by villagers.
