Holi Special Train Konkan 2023: Roha Chiplun MEMU Special Train 01597 cancelled

Konkan Railway cancelled services of Special MEMU Train 01597 running between Roha and Chiplun for Holi Festival 2023.

Konkan Railway has cancelled Special Train running for Holi Festival 2023 between Roha and Chiplun commencing from 09/03/2023 to 12/03/2023.

Central Railway had decided to extend train no.01347 running between Diva and Roha to Chiplun from Roha at 11:05 hrs from 04/03/2023 to 12/03/2023.

Roha Chiplun MEMU Train 01597 was leaving from Roha at 11:05 hrs and reaching Chiplun at 13:20 hrs on the same day.

Roha Railway Pravasi Sangh objected this decision of Central Railway claiming that there is very less frequency of trains for travelling from Mumbai to Roha. As this train extended to Chiplun and no additional rakes augmented was running overcrowded which caused major inconvenience to commuters of Roha.
