Holi Special Train Konkan 2023: Chiplun Roha MEMU Special Train 01598 cancelled

Konkan Railway has cancelled services of Special MEMU Train 01598 running between Chiplun and Roha for Holi Festival 2023.

Konkan Railway has cancelled Special Train running for Holi Festival 2023 between Chiplun and Roha commencing from 09/03/2023 to 12/03/2023.

Central Railway had decided to revise source station of train no.01348 running between Roha and Diva from Roha to Chiplun with effect from 04/03/2023 to 12/03/2023.

Chiplun Roha MEMU Train 01598 was leaving from Chiplun at 13:45 hrs and reaching Roha at 16:10 hrs. Then same Memu train was running as Train No.01348 from Roha to Diva.

Roha Railway Pravasi Sangh objected this decision of Central Railway claiming that there is very less frequency of trains for travelling from Roha to Mumbai. As this train extended to Chiplun and no additional rakes augmented was running overcrowded which caused major inconvenience to commuters of Roha.
