Rameshwar Temple, Akeri, Kudal, Sindhudurg

Rameshwar Temple is very old but well maintained temple located at beautiful Akeri village in Kudal taluka of Sindhudurg district. You can experience a peace with nature. Temple is of lord Shiva.There are 2 - 3 small temples in the premises.

We can see a beautiful carvings on pillars in this temple. This is Very old stone carved temple of Lord Shiva. It's said to be built in the era of Pandavas. On Mahashivratri usually in February or March, big festival is celebrated in the temple campus. Devotees must visit to see sculpture of temple.
