Mansishwar Temple, Vengurla, Sindhudurg

Mansishwar Temple is situated at Vengurla city of Sindhudurg. This temple has hundred years of history. Devotees wish would be fulfilled after making vows to Shri Dev Mansishwar. The vow of God is paid off on the day of the fair only.

About 100 years ago, Late Devu Kubal of Ubhadanda, Kubaltemb in Vengurla could not have children, he went to Mansishwar Temple and offered a coconut to Shri Dev Mansishwar and vowed that if he gets children, he will celebrate small festival of Mansishwar. By the grace of Shri Dev Mansishwar, his wish fulfilled. Due to the large number of people not knowing at that time, the program of the fair was held at a small scale for some years. Gradually, devotees started coming here to take their own vows and their desired wishes were fulfilled.
