Panhalekaji Caves, Panhale Kazi, Dapoli, Ratnagiri

Nante village is located 15 kilometers away from Dapoli on Dabhol road. On the left side of the village there is a road going towards the famous Panhalakaji Caves. These caves are ancient. In Panhalekaji Caves, idols of Ganapati, Tripurasundari, Saraswati are carved. Sculptures of Manushi Buddha, Bhairav and Hanuman can be seen in different caves. It takes at least 2 hours to see all caves. This ancient place, very quiet and delightful, is inviting thousands of years of art and culture.
